Track tractors and locomotives KT
Are special driven rolling cars for easy movement and handling of rail cars designed to ensure the presence of a technological production operator in the place of loading and unloading. These vehicles are divided into locomotives A 314 and shunting mechanisms KT 37, the main feature, which is distinguished, is the presence of pneumatic brakes , the locomotives and shunting mechanisms are not so equipped.
Railway tractor KT 37
Is a shunting mechanism with 2 axles with electric power transmission and fulfils all conditions for operation on rails in connection with the operation of other rail vehicles. The vehicle was created through complex conversion of a series locomotive T 211 (700).
Construction
The drive, the main frame of the vehicle with pulling and retarding devices, axle gears, and a parts of the vehicle are used for reconstruction from the original locomotives. All other parts are treated as a new construction. The propulsion system is located in the front hood. The primary source of energy may be lead-acid batteries (KT 37A) to ensure normal dual operation or a diesel engine (KT 37d) supplying power to electronics - traction inverter. The vehicle is mounted with an electro-dynamic brake.
Advantages
The technical parameters guarantee extremely favourable economic indicators, and an optimal return on investment funds (min. cost of vehicle operation and maintenance, quality assurance, quality and durability of components, environmental service). The vehicle meets strict safety and fire prevention requirements.
Management
With radio remote control (the operator from the work place or from the platform of machines). In the event of loss of radio communication immediately activates TOTAL STOP functions and activates the emergency brake. As part of the security of operation of the vehicle it is protected against the uncontrolled return of the working area through security electromagnetic sensors.
- KT 37A
- As a source of electricity for traction inverter lead-acid batteries of nominal voltage of 572 and 330 Ah capacity
are used, which is adapted for traction purposes and 4 blocks are safe in the event of an impact with another vehicle.
A lead traction battery is very hard source of electrical energy, which allows short-term supply many times the nominal current. An appropriate combination of the right sized inverter is then possible to fully exploit the properties of asynchronous motor traction able to operate at the border of relative traction torque even at very low revolutions. These properties can not be fully used in DC traction current applications.
Before the dangers of a deep discharge battery is secured with electronic traction facilities which, on the basis of voltage drop in the load balances evaluate energy accumulation. - KT 37D
- The source of electrical Energy is supplied by a traction diesel generator AC 400 V, which is brought
through the fuses and circuit breakers to traction frequency. Here it is guided for intermediate voltage, and subsequently brought into
the inverter.
The traction inverter with full vector control manages speed and torque of the traction motor. The drive consists of an asynchronous electric motor with a short anchor of the output of 37 kW. The source current for the traction power electronics is an intercooled turbocharged diesel four cylinder.
